“Handy if you're in the area.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2014 via mobile

great little place to stop if you've been out hiking. Some local brews on tap as well as the usual things. The restaurant decor isn't the best but the food was excellent and superb value for money. Made a nice change from using the camping stove. Nice little seating area outdoors.

my son and i went for dinner here one night last week. wasnt a great selection of food to choose from. the macaroni cheese tasted like salt. the service was slow and not very friendly. i could hear the waitresses talking about nights out and swearing ( my son could also hear there use of language) was not impressed.

“Quick stop”

Very friendly staff friendly girl came out with some water for the dog. Great location at bottom of Steil falls and a well earned snack break.

Friendly staff, accommodated our group of 20 efficiently and without a booking! Food was well priced and pretty good - recommended for easy-going atmosphere and good value.

“Great food and lovely staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2014

My husband, mother and myself were staying at the Glen Nevis cottages for 6 nights and ate in the Glen Nevis Lounge Bar every night - we had every intention of going into the restaurant but there was such a lovely atmosphere in the lounge that we decided to eat in there instead. All of the staff were very friendly as was the chef and I congratulated him on his food as every meal that we had was lovely and we worked our way down the menu, I can honestly say that we didn't have a bad meal and very reasonably priced. We always enjoyed a bottle of wine with our meal which cost about £15 which we thought wasn't too bad. The lounge was full of all nationalities enjoying a meal or a beer which added to the atmosphere, just lovely. We would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning some day soon.
