We came to Inverness on holiday and booked PEx on a Sunday night. When we entered the premises we found it very hot as if the A/C was not working correctly. You could smell the cooking.
We ordered the Nero wine and a bottle of Merlot came which was replaced. Our pizzas came very quickly and one was awash with oil which made the base very soggy and it wasnt their uniform round shape which they normally are. Deserts were OK. We paid up and left but a nagging thought got me to check the bill more thoroughly. We had been charged for the Merlot so retraced our steps. The assistant checked the bill and gave us a £2 refund. They had forgotten, too, to add a coffee which the graciously gave us gratis.
This restaurant is not up to the standard of other PEx we visit and we cant see why we should return, rather we will go to Little Italy for the next two nights.
There was an outside seating area and when folks left a large number of very big seagulls descended on the tables to peck away at waste food. Some passers by even photographed them. Staff should be aware of this and clear up more promptly.,
