We made a reservation here after walking past it a couple of times and noticing how crowded it was. The restaurant's decor is modern and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The wine selection was decent. What truly wowed us, though, was the food. From the huge plate of steamed mussels I had as an appetizer, to the gorgeous lamb that my son ate as an entree and the to-die-for hot lemon meringue desserts (these take a few mins but are well worth it), it was an all around success. This place offers fresh, excellent seafood as well as a good number of other options for those desiring to eat something that doesn't swim. Of the four dinners we had in Inverness, Rocpool was the best hands-down.
