Made a reservation same day, had a spectacular dinner. It was quite expensive, but the venison was amazing, the soup was divine, my husband's oriental chicken salad was (reportedly) delicious. The wine was, hmmm, okay, but we found that throughout Scotland - not quite the same diversity and adventurousness of tastes we've seen in Washington DC. Or maybe we just ate at the wrong places. In any case, the whiskeys were always delightful.
If you want to hit the Rocpool, try the early bird menu - probably a better value!
