“Great place to stay with kids and dogs.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2013 via mobile

We stayed in pine cottage, family of 2 adults and 4 children and 2 dogs.
2 doubles and a twin, needed a travel cot which was there on arrival along with a box of toys.
The cottage was perfect. Clean and well equipped.
The location is perfect for visiting inverness and the surrounding area.
There are woodlands next to the cottages for doggy walks.
Tv and video player and games for wet evenings.
Everything we needed was there so will definitely be back if we have another inverness holiday.
The only downside was £40 electric bill for the week on departure, not sure why it was so high as we were barely there during the day and mostly ate out, but on the grand scheme of things wouldn't deter us from coming again.

I confirm everything good that others have written, plus the fact that Pine Cottage where we stayed is excellent value for money, and more spacious than we expected.. Can't recommend too highly... Janiamac

Had a week's stay in Rowan Cottage with my parents and sister. The cottage is one of 3 on a farm not far from Inverness, an ideal location for anyone wanting to explore the Highlands.
Rowan Cottage has 3 bedrooms, a double and two singles, and is ideally sized for a couple or small family. The other cottages are bigger.
It was so peaceful, even with neighbours occupying the other cottages, we didn't hear a sound. It is located not far from Inverness Airport and the planes so come past the cottage when landing, but the flights don't go through the night and didn't disturb us - if anything it was amazing to see them so close to the window!
The view from the window had fields of Highland Cattle, including a week old calf, and the hills beyond. There was a small grassed area in front of the cottage, with a children's plane to play on for families staying.
Marcia and Neil had provided everything we needed for our stay, the kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and utensils. There was a brilliant welcome pack on the table, with leaflets for all the local attractions. And as an added bonus, we were welcomed with a vase of sweet peas and a packet of tablet on the table!
Didn't want to leave once the week was over.

My husband, myself and two children aged 3 and 1 had our family holiday at Easter Dalziel farm cottages. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing, peaceful stay in Pine cottage. The cottages were spotless and well equipped with everything you needed and more. Going away with two small children can mean a full car but Marcia and Neil supplied all we needed including a toy box so more room for my shopping;)!! Big garden and lovely wee walk along the wood which was a great adventure for the kids. Excellent location just a short drive to the retail park and Inverness city centre. Proprietors Neil and Marcia go the extra mile to ensure your stay is a comfortable one! I would recommend Easter Dalziel farm cottages to any type of traveller. We'll be back!

We stayed with Bob and Margaret several years ago now, and friends' future travel put me in mind of the farm and its B&B again. What wonderful hospitality we enjoyed there. Exquisite home baking with a cuppa. Fantastic brekkie. Comfy, quiet, homestyle luxury in the bedrooms (what soft sheets!). Say helllllooo to the wee baby coos when you go!

We have stayed in all threeof the cottages over the past few years and they are all very comfortable with well equipped kitchens and comfy beds. The outside garden and the pine forest gives loads of room for the children to roam and the dogs to play. Neil and Marcia even give toys for my grandaughter to play with when she came with us. They are always happy to recommend delightful places to eat out, we tried one at Loch Ness this time and will go back again. If you are lucky deer can be seen in th surrounding fields and there is plenty of birds to spot too. We had a lovely visit from a Yellowhammer who perched on a rock outside the kitchen and sang its heart out. Visit the Highlands and stay at 'the cottage'. The Thomson Family from Orkney

We were stayed at Rowan Cottage with my partner parents. Beautiful surround, great location. The owner and his family amazing, very very helpful and really friendly. Working hard on this farm to make you feel comfortable. The cottage very cosy, absolutly tidy, not a dust, so huge, just lovely.
Great location, the cottage 5 minutes or less walk from the airport, but it is not noisy. Town about 10 or less minutes drive from and the big tesco just around to do your food shopping. So all great! We would recommend to anyone this cottage who would like to enjoy a wee bit of Scottish Higland. Beautiful!
