Stayed here for two nights during a recent trip to Scotland. Sandy and Margaret are the perfect hosts; warm friendly greeting on arrival.

Rooms are very nice, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and a good size. Bed comfortable, toiletries in the bathroom and hospitality tray in the room.

Breakfast was very good with a wide selection; the porridge is to be recommended.

There is a lounge area where you can sit and relax, there is also a library with books and DVD's for guests to use. Another nice touch is the decanter of whiskey that you can help yourself to!

Ample car parking available.

Slightly outside of the main town, but only a five minute drive or twenty minute walk.

Would definitely stay here again if we were ever in Inverness again. Highly recommended.

We three travellers arrived without luggage (delayed by airline), and so Margaret and Sandy were solicitous and helpful with directions to a local store to purchase some necessaries. Thankfully one of the bags arrived and Sandy brought it upstairs to one of our rooms. Sandy also directed us to an excellent restaurant within walking distance. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and attractive. The meal was equally good. There were pleasing artifacts from Africa and Asia, and a great variety of books in libraries located up and down the stairs. We heartily recommend Dunhallin House.

Room Tip: We had two rooms and enjoyed the sitting area as well. All were equally comfortable and attractive.

I stayed one night in the month of June. No hesitation to recommend to anyone looking for an accommodation in Invereness. Large bedroom. Very quiet despite being on an apparent busy street. Good breakfast.

Margaret and Sandy made us extremely welcome. The room was en suite, spacious and beautifully decorated. Ii had never been to the Highlands before and after this visit I will definitely go again. Opted for proper porridge for breakfast and it was amazing - of course lots of other lovely food was on offer but when in the Highlands............d
