Inverglen Guest House was lovely. One of the nicer guest houses we stayed in during our stay in Scotland. Great location with a five minute walk into town. Our host met us and offered many suggestions for dining and touring the area.

Room tip: Loved the superior king bed. Many guest houses only offer doubles.

The Inverglen Guest House may date from the late 1800’s, but the furnishings are modern and very well decorated and maintained. This was our second stay at the Inverglen Guest House and the owners were just as I remembered, very warm and inviting into their Guest House. John took the time to acquaint us with the city once again and Susan made the best breakfast you could ask for.

Our stay at the Inverglen Guest House was a delightful. Excellent location with a very short walk into town. Our room was one of the nicest on our Scotland trip. The room had many amenities including a shelf in the shower, a wardrobe with shelves, a sewing kit, hair dryer, etc.

Hi there

Thanks for your kind review, and we're so happy that you found our home to be a delightful place to stay. We try to think of all the little things that guests might find useful to have in their room, and might not have space for in their suitcase, so thanks for noticing and commenting on those!

We hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday in the Highlands, with kind regards, Susan & John

Nice room and en-suit. Had to leave very early one morning and they packed some breakfast AND lunch food for us as we traveled to the Isle of Skye that day. A little bit of a walk downhill to the main part of town (and uphill back) but very doable, even with my bad knees. Could easily spent and extra day or two in Inverness.

John and Susan were very gracious and kind hosts. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. We were on a very early morning tour of the Highlands and John was very helpful with information and in packing a take away breakfast for us. We would definitely stay at Inverglen Guest House again if given the opportunity. Thank you so much! David & Sissy Wells
