We chose Bluebell House for our first stay in Scotland after reading reviews. Margaret greeted us with town information and the key to our lovely lower floor king room. Bluebell House is in the perfect location for a stay in Inverness. It is within easy walking for shopping and dining. Margaret recommended several restaurants of which we tried three while there. Our room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The only problem we had was with the temperature of the room. Scotland was having a bit of a heat wave, so the room was warming than we like for sleeping. Our room was right across from the dining area. Our breakfast was a typical Scottish breakfast with eggs, bacon, fruit, etc. My husband was brave enough to try the black pudding, which he liked. I would recommend the Bluebell House highly.

Had a lovely stay and can't fault anything. Free parking, good location to walk into inverness. Plenty of choice for breakfast which was lovely. The owners neil and Margaret were lovely and very welcoming. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a base in inverness.

Room Tip: From what I saw all rooms are of the same standard.

My fiance and I stayed here for 3 nights at Spring Bank. The owner, Margaret, was delightful and made us feel very relaxed in her home. We reserved the room with the 4 poster bed and it was exactly as described and looked in the pics. The bed was sooooo very comfy; we've never slept better. This room is facing the main road but we weren't disturbed by any traffic noise. Lots of breakfast choices and everything was scrummy. This B&B also has a car park which is a must in Inverness. The city centre and river Ness are a short walk away but far enough from any noise. We can't stress enough how spotlessly clean the room and bathroom were. We would definitely stay here again.

This is without doubt the best place we have ever stayed in this country or abroad. The whole place is decorated to the highest standard. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was difficult because you were spoilt for choice, and it was all cooked to perfection. A 5 star hotel would struggle to reach this high standard. The location is good as you are only a few minutes walk from the centre, and you also have private parking. The hosts Margaret and Neil are very warm and welcoming. Alan & Barbara Brown.

Room Tip: I would think any room would be good in the place

Neil gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived at Bluebell house and gave good advice re places to eat. It is very well situated for the river and shopping and we were able to walk to three different venues for evening dining. It was also very useful to have private parking. Our room was very comfortable and clean with very modern en suite albeit rather bijou. We were offered a very good choice at breakfast together with the usual cereals, fresh fruit etc.
