Premier Inn have very comfortable beds, good quality rooms, friendly staff & excellent value if you can book in advance. The on-site restaurant is also very good, friendly staff & good choice of menu at reasonable cost. Will be back!!

I decided to go to Inverness for the weekend and spotted a Brewers Fayre just off the A9 as I neared the city. Knowing that Premier are generally associated with these I drove to the hotel and was received enthusiastically at reception and was able to arrange two nights stay.

Dinner and breakfast were extra and so the cost of the stay was circa £200 so somewhat higher priced than expected but as it was not a booked stay this accounts for the extra cost.

Room was large and well served with a sofa, tv and tea and coffee making materials, large bed and a good bathroom.

Although a towel rail was provided, it was not working as all of these items are being changed out currently.

Well heated, not much of a view as it is on an industrial estate, albeit a modern one.

Room Tip: no difference really, well away from any heavy traffic.

This is a Premier Inn, so it's much like every Premier Inn. Room was clean, bed comfy, linen crisp. The bathroom was clean, the shower worked and the soap dispensers were full. Overall, no complaints.

Lovely warm, Highland welcome, which gave a good first impression. Well stocked vending machines available where you could purchase essential items if necessary, ie. toothbrush, toothpaste. There is a lift to access one of the four floors which was essential for one of the party who had restricted mobility. Two rooms were booked, one was a double room and was described as clean, comfortable and adequately heated. The bed was very comfortable and the addition of tea and coffee making facilities was very welcome. The bathroom was large enough with a shower/bath and the toiletries provided were of a nice quality. The twin room that was stayed in by myself and another person was fine. However it is not two single beds provided but a double and a couch that is converted. The single bed was fine.
The price for the rooms were approximately £109.00 to £114.00 which we considered to be expensive. The location of the hotel is not central and therefore if you were looking for an opportunity to see Inverness you have to travel into the city centre. Based on this, believe the prices should reflect the location.

I stayed at the Premier Inn East from 7 - 9 March 2014. I'll bullet point each point to make for easy reading:

Car parking - very satisfactory. Plenty of spaces and could always get a space next to the hotel entrance which was important as I was travelling with someone with restricted mobility.

Check-in - Gentleman who checked us in was actually from the Premier Inn West, however, given he did not have much knowledge of the hotel etc. he still carried out the check-in process with ease and was very friendly and polite.

WiFi - The hotel gives you 30 minutes of free wifi and thereafter you need to purchase 24 hours at a price of £3.00. This isn't out of the way in terms of price, but it can be temperamental. However, it did fine for using Facetime and streaming on Youtube so overall I cannot complain.

Room - We were given room 53 which was booked as a twin room. This comprised of double bed and a single bed (which was acually a couch which had had the cushions removed and a mattress placed on top.) The double bed was slightly too hard for my tastes, but that's going to be a matter of opinion. The person who I was with advised that the single bed whilst comfortable enough, was next to the window and draught could be felt.)

The room was clean and you were given tea and coffee making faciltiies as well as a little TV with Freeview. The bathroom was ok, however the lighting in there wasn't great. There was a soap dispenser at the sink, however the Imperial Leather shower gel dispenser next to the bath and shower was empty. Make sure you remember your toiletries!

Location - Was ideal for us as we were visiting at Raigmore Hospital. If you are looking for something more central then don't choose this one, perhaps Premier Inn Central would be better.

Value for money - the double room was £114.00 for two nights. This is steep considering the location etc. and given that breakfast is not included. A B&B could be booked for a fraction of that cost and you would have a breakfast included, but as I say above, it was ideal for location only.

All in, the hotel served its purpose, but if I had the choice, I don't believe I would choose to stay here again unless I really had to.
