It's clean and roomy in the family room. Breakfasts are large and generous, but you pay separately for them. Kids under 15 eat free. 3 nights a week is an all-you-can-eat buffet for 8 British pounds. You pay separately for WiFi. No laundry facilities or pool. Still, it's one of the best priced hotels in Inverness.

The weather was cool outside, but the room was so hot, we had to ask for a fan, which helped slightly. Other guests complained of the same problem. Unfortunately, the window only cracked open an inch or so and there was no airflow. I was miserable and slept without a blanket and sweated all night. We all tossed and turned.

Otherwise, it was a decent Premier Inn with a nice restaurant next door. The staff tried to be helpful, but this seemed to be a common problem, as there was a note in the room advising guests that they could request a top sheet instead of duvets, as the rooms are warm.

For B&B at this Premier Inn we paid £96.98. So much for the £29 deals they offer. The place was full of workmen staying over and the carpark was littered with their vans - all badly parked! The so called twin room had a double bed and a couch made up to look like a bed. It had an excuse for a pillow and the quilt was wafer thin. We had to run the bathroom tap for over 10 minutes to get any hot water from it - so much for their so much for their eco policy. Would not stay here again.
