“Perfect stay.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights when we ran the 2013 Loch Ness Marathon. I will start by saying this is the cleanest bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many. We had room number 4, which is in the front and is a great room. I am a light sleeper and thus quiet is important to me. And since we were running the marathon it was even more important to us on this trip. The room was beautiful as was the en suite bathroom. The house is located on a quiet street and although they were booked we never heard any other guests in the house. It was important for us to be near and within walking distance to the City Centre as the marathon began at Bught Park. It only took us about 10 minutes to walk to the City Centre/Castle/River and the park. Very good location. The Castle Tavern (which is a must- our favorite stop in Inverness) is also about 10 minutes walk.

As for the food, you fill out a card the night before and leave it downstairs stating what time you would like breakfast and what you want. This way Susan makes sure you have a fresh breakfast cooked just for you. It was fantastic. Finally, we had an issue with some concert tickets that were supposed to be mailed to us at Ness Guest House. We ran into some issues and Susan was incredibly helpful and accomodating. I cannot say enough about this place and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. I highly recommend Ness Guest House.

Room Tip: Room number 4 - large, very clean and very pretty. The bed was more comfrotable than my bed at home...

A climax of our Scotland trip was the stay of two days in Inverness. Here we covered accommodation in Ness Guest House.
Susan who was always roofed on the welfare of her guests welcomed to us warmly. We had the feeling, we come to good friends.
The house is very homy, a friendly and nice atmosphere and a good service.
Thanks, Susan and Richard! With pleasure we recommend your house and hope to be able to be once again your guests.

At this moment in time I'm getting ready to have my last breakfast after spending four nights. I have not stayed in a b&b for years and after watching four in a bed I was nervous but I should not have been the Ness guest house is very clean and Susan very welcoming. As said before is really close to town but your not in the heart of it so it's a bit more peaceful. Now I'm of to enjoy my Scottish fry up ;)

We stayed at the Ness guest house for two nights. After travelling all day from the U.K we were able to park our car on the premises. We meet the host, Susan who was absolutely delightful and very informative about different places we could grab a bite to eat- nothing too fancy. The room was decorated in mauve/purple decor and everything we needed was provided. Breakfast was a wide varied selection and the haggis/black pudding fantastic.

Booked an overnight stay when visiting Inverness to take part in the Loch Ness 10k.

Location was great - only a short walk from the centre (and the finish line for that matter!) but still far enough away to be quiet and away from all the hussle and bussle to get a good nights sleep. Susan was also kind enough to allow us a late check out to get ourselves orgnised once the run was finished which was a God send!

Running aside we had a lovely stay, the room and the accommodtion in general was kept in lovely order, everything was very clean, and the attention to service and detail was high. Would have no hesitation recommending to friends and family!

Great site with great hospitality and a fantastic breakfirst.
We felt totally welcome. All advises where helpfull and we really enjoyed our stay there. We will be glad to stay there again next time we visit the area. The house is very close to the city (3 Min. walk) but also a quite place to relax.
