I was looking for a place to stay away from the centre of Inverness but within striking distance of the City.

Beach Cottage is in a very striking location not difficult to find but yet off the beaten track.

As well as a spacious bedroom with great finish, the view was amazing and I was lucky enough to spot a Dolphin jumping through the waves one morning while taking in the view.

We also saw a seal making its way out to sea as well which delighted the children who loved the whole trip. Cant recommend Inverness and Beach Cottage enough - thanks for making us so welcome Bradley. We will be back!

This is an romantic litte beach cottage with an breathtaking view over a bay with dolphins and seals. Because of its small size and the familial atmosphere we felt like in a fairy tale, far away from all the stress and hectic of our everyday life and every comfort you need.

The host was very keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible and helped us a lot with day trip recommendations, directions, the weather forecast and so on. He's always good for a nice talk and makes you feel very welcome. The breakfast was a great variety of everything you could possibly want and even from the breakfast room you could watch the amazing bay!

Our room was lovely decorated and very coasy. From our bed we again had a stunning view over the bay! Everything you needed was provided: hairdryer, loudspeakers for the ipod, a stable wifi connection, everyday fresh towels and of course tea and coffee! And perfectly clean!

We couldn't have chosen a better B&B and recommend it to everyone who also wants to enjoy an unforgettable couple of relaxing days around Inverness in a enchanting atmosphere!

This is the best little get-away I have experienced. It is immaculate, (and I am hard to please), quiet, and the views are for a 6 STAR hotel, if there were such a place. Lovely breakfast, as you like it, is on order with a spacious dining area. I went for a long walk along the water's edge and saw only two other people. It was magical and bring your camera, for some amazing photo opportunities.

Room Tip: There are only two rooms and you can not go wrong with either. But, the one I stayed in had the dou...

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Beach Cottage is an idyllic bed and breakfast located on the shores of the Moray Firth only 6 miles from Inverness City Centre. The B&B has a quiet, semi rural location and offers accommodation with stunning sea views. The 200 plus year old cottage has been extended and refurbished to a high standard with two en suite rooms, the Moray and the Beauly. Moray is in the new part of the cottage and has french doors with a Juliet balcony and offers panoramic views of the Moray Firth from Inverness to the South West around to Fort George and Chanonry Point to the North East. Beauly is in the old part of the cottage and offers similar views but they can be seen from the comfort of seats in the bay window. Please note that Beauly has old wood beams and the shower in the en suite has a low ceiling not really suitable for anyone taller than 1.8M. Dolphins, porpoises, seals and sea otters can frequently be spotted from the cottage as well as a huge variety of different species of birds. An idyllic and peaceful location with beautiful scenery. Due to the semi rural location it is necessary to have a vehicle. ... more   less
