“A great day out”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

This is not to be missed. The kids will love it. It's interesting its relaxed and you spend as much time there as you want.
Our 10 year old was amazed. The wife thought it were very good and informative. Me I just enjoyed the day and will return to see what's been added next time we are in the area.

“Interesting Quirky Museum”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

Spent a couple of hours here on a wet Sunday afternoon, could go back again as we still didn't manage to read all the interesting bits and pieces, Inverness Council should ask this man to display his Titanic collection in a prime site in the centre of Inverness, it would very quickly become an even more popular tourist attraction. So much time and energy has been spent on this museum, it deserves more recognition.
A very enjoyable day topped off with a cup of tea and a chat with the owner.

“Managed a visit at last !!”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

We managed to go this visit up north !

To see it from the road, I was surprised that how much the actual museum site contained. There was so much to see and the grandchildren loved going around and playing the games even though none of them managed to get the hoops on the pole !
Stanley made everyone welcome and the tea was good.
Will definitely be going back there on a dry day and in the summer !

The best free venue we have been to and a donation was given to help more work to be carried out !

“Thanks Stanley - what a gem”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

Loved this - very quirky and eccentric, but Stanley has collected everything here with passion. Something for everyone - watched the hour long fascinating video of dives to the wreck of the Titanic, which had some very touching footage, and also enjoyed looking at all the displays, visiting the boats, and chatting to Stan who is a gem himself as well as having built a gem of a museum. He is very knowledgeable about the Titanic and makes a lovely cup of tea, together with nautically themed biscuits. Free entry, but we were happy to give generously. A highlight of Inverness.

If you have the time then PLEASE try and visit this splendid and most individual Museum.

The vision of a very friendly chap it must be appreciated almost as much as an insight into one man's character and drive as much as in it's own right.

Years have been spent building and acquiring exhibits despite his very serious health problems. He is a man who is living his dream.

Go along. Press the 'Please Touch' exhibits!!!

Please donate generously.
(I am Scroogelike normally but was more than happy to chip in. THAT says a lot)!.
