Have visited 3 times. First visit was good the fish looked lovely so I took my husband next visit who thought it was very good value and the fish again was large and we were both pleased with our meal.
On our third visit unfortunately the fish was small and curled up with 10 chips and a few peas. Thought we had found a regular haunt but probably want get my hubby to go back.

A favorite of Me and of the lads for the football on the weekend. provides decent priced drink and good facilities to watch the sports on. The food is also top notch as me and my friend cleared our plate in what must have been record time.

This is our "local" when we are in Inverness. Whether on shopping trips, overnighting for a visit to Eden Court or any other reason we always make a point of visiting the Auctioneers. the prices are really competitive and the beers etc are always very good and there is always a nice atmosphere.

The food was ok. We've had the portion of mini burgers. The size and taste were ok, but nothing really special. The place offers a Small range of beers and they are a little bit on the expensive side. Service ok and clean toilets though.

Chanced on The Auctioneers on arriving in Inverness by train and were pleased with the offer (currently Sun-Thurs during school holidays) of child meal for £1. Food was tasty and the chicken nuggets our son had were pleasantly different shapes, rather than just reformed identikit ones that would have been on offer at McDonalds. Visited twice during our stay and both times had nice food in calm surroundings (early evening first time, lunchtime 2nd visit). The £9.95 for two main meals offer helped keep the cost of our stay down. Nice to see the cook putting little touches like a sprinkling of paprika on my dish which made it even more appetising.
