This is an exceptional place in a beautiful secluded location, surrounded by Deers !

The room was lovely very clean with a cozy comfortable bed with all tea and coffee making facilities.

Carole the owner made every effort to ensure our stay was perfect, she also provided us with good directions to see the surrounding locations.

We stayed there for 5 nights and highly recommend this 5 star location just 10 minutes from Inverness

My wife & I were extremely satisfied with our 3 day stay at Dinichean House. It was just far enough out of the busy hustle and bustle of Inverness but not to far, very quiet. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and kept clean. The food was very delicious! The grounds were beautiful and we loved that we could take advantage of the walking paths. We were also thrilled that we were able to see the red deer several times during our stay there. Carol was also very knowledgeable and helpful on giving directions and suggestions on local restaurants and attractions. The price was also very reasonable as well. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to stay here again when we return to Scotland.

'Cash only' Dinichean House bed and breakfast is located out in secluded countryside yet this property only accepts cash payments. Luckily, I don't work for HM Revenue & Customs otherwise I might not have been so restrained. Wouldn't ever stay here again, never read so much rubbish information about carbon neutrality. Who cares what their family cars are run on and much more? All Carol Jeans was concerned about at breakfast was making sure we reached the cash-point machine before check-out the following day. The final straw was the proud boast in the information pack that she sifts through guests' waste bins "so that they don't have to". Rummaging through other people's rubbish is disgusting and a step too far for us. You will be strongly encouraged to wear the slippers provided in your room. We weren't thrilled that the owner didn't mention having a dog. It's not easy if you don't like dogs. The deer were only there for appearances on day of arrival. There was a mini decanter of port and a pack of M&S shortbread in the room but the owner seemed miffed that we actually used them. Give the place a miss is my advice.

Room Tip: Give the place a miss is my advice.

We have spent 3 nights at this beautiful B&B in early June. The property is located a few miles outside of Inverness in the woods. We enjoyed the absolute calm during the night and the early morning away from the hustle of the city. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were perfectly appointed and clean. In the morning we could choose from a large variety of breakfast items, we could not ask for more. Carol is very friendly and helpful. You can feel that she likes to treat her guests with devotion. We followed her restaurant recommendations and had great dining experiences.
We find that Dinichean House is a great base to explore the area around Loch Ness, visit the Cairngorm mountains, tour the whisky trail or play some of the highly rated golf courses around Inverness (Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart, Nairn). We highly recommend this place. It is definitely a five star accommodation at a very reasonable rate.

What a wonderful place, the star rating says it all. Carol is environmentally friendly too on all she does, going to great lengths to care for the herd of deer that grace the grounds, carefully assuring their safety from the road too. Easily located about 2 miles from the junction of the B861 and the B851. Nothing is too much trouble for Carol and the food is Fabulous too.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B that is just outside of Inverness. It was fantastic being out in the country with the deer literally right outside your window or greeting you next to your car when you went out in the morning! The room was beautiful and the en suite was fantastic. We stayed for three nights with our infant daughter who they owners were so wonderful accommodating of. Their B&B is well soundproofed so we did not hear them and vice versa which is always a concern for families when they travel. Breakfast was wonderful and Carol and Trevor were simply delightful owners....helpful, kind, and very caring. We would certainly return again and highly recommend to others!

This is a lovely place to stay, just outside of Inverness so you get the best of both worlds-the quiet solitude if the country and it's a quick run to the city. The rooms are beautifully laid out, great bathrooms, and very quiet. There's no wifi but that's a blessing.

There's a herd of red deer in the grounds plus lots of other wildlife and the owners are slowly returning a commercial forest to a wetland. Carol is a font of knowledge, and very friendly. Breakfast offers lots of choice and Carol was very accommodating of vegan requests. A beautiful place to spend a long weekend or more and use as a base to explore the Highlands
