“Lovely hotel, great service & very clean.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2014

Great hotel lots of services, such as the pool and jacuzzi. Went here for a hen night last night. We had a meal which was lovely, and good portion size also the service at the hotel is amazing. Near the standards of the staff on cruise boats. Very good. Rooms were very clean, corodoors very chilly but to be expected. Breakfast was amazing. Wasn't much to do for a hen night, think this was lack of planning and also just being put into the ness suite. Would highly recommend and would stay again! Also it is situated very close to the town centre which is great! :-)

Room Tip: We had a room on left side of the hotel. As there's to sides and we were on second floor at back...

Dear Hens

Thanks very much for choosing to book your weekend with us and we're delighted you all enjoyed yourselves.

It's fantastic that you found the service so good and that you found all areas of the hotel clean - what brilliant feedback!

The Ness Suite is available to our girls packages to do with what they wish - with a few exceptions...! You can hire a disco, party games or a dance class, it's a blank canvas of space for you to organise something special in privacy with your friends.

I do hope that when you all have another get together you choose to come and have a weekend in Inverness and stay with us again - we'd love to have you all back!

Many thanks and very kind regards, Della.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and nothing is a bother for them. The hotel is old but nice and modern inside with everything you need. The only downside is I'd you get a room at the front which has great views of the river you also have to be able to cope with a continuous noise from two vents just outside the front of the hotel which cause a constant vibration and noise. Apart from that a great place to stay so always try and book a room without a view.

Room Tip: Ask for a room without the river view

Stayed in this hotel lots of times, staff are friendly, a wide variety of food is available in the lounge, which is nice & comfy to relax with a drink in the evening with lovely views of the river ness! Rooms are clean & spacious. The shops are not too far away if you fancy a wonder!

Fantastic location on the banks of the River Ness just a short walk from the town centre with views of the Castle.
We had a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the castle, it was very spacious and clean and tidy with a lovely en-suite.
We didn't have our dinner there but we had breakfast in the morning and it was very nice.

My fiance and I visited Inverness for the valentines weekend, it's our first valentines together as an engaged couple and we really wanted to have a special weekend away.
The whole Inverness experience was amazing, visiting Culloden Battlefield, Loch Ness etc but what really made our weekend was our stay at the Palace Hotel.
We just can't fault it, our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is a short walk from the city centre and the food was absolutely incredible (try the mixed grill!! If you can finish it you deserve a medal! Just delicious!)
The first thing we noticed when we arrived at the Palace Hotel was its inviting and warm atmosphere.
The staff could not have been more attentive, efficiant and welcoming when we arrived, right through to when we left.
Everyone was more than happy to answer questions about the area and tourist attractions and seemed to always be seeing to guests needs.
Unfortunately there was one incident at breakfast in which a little girl was sick in the restaurant, the parents of that child were up and gone without a glance back! Thankfully the staff were on hand and as quick as the incident occured the table was stripped and cleaned before anyone else really knew what had happened! Well done to the young lad who efficiently got on with it and cleaned it up.
Breakfast was just to die for, unbelievable choice! Diet went out the window that weekend!
We will definitely be visiting The Palace hotel again!! Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so memorable and magical.
See you soon,
The future Mr & Mrs Joss.

Good location on banks of River Ness, parking to rear. Reception and staff in general were friendly, good pool, spa, bar and cafe serving Starbucks coffee. Rooms were pretty basic and dated, shower was good but bathrooms, again was basic and dated. Windows were draughty and on a windy night they rattle keeping me awake. Hotel was OK, not great. Location was good but no reason I would return if not on business.
