Very popular.
Crowded when we went - we had to wait for a table, so we had time for some local ale in the bar!
The menu was good - Haggis was tried for the first time and proved very enjoyable. Service and atmosphere was very good
All in all a very enjoyable meal.

Went in at tea time on the Friday for a couple of drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere so much we stayed for some food. I had the scampi and my wife had the haddock and both were really tasty. The kitchen also put some nibbles outside for people to help themselves to which was a nice touch and saved us buying a starter!! (Don't know if that's a regular thing)

My girlfriend and I dropped into this cosy little place last night to get out from the rain. We decided (after a pleasant real ale) to try the food and i was pleasantly surprised. Although the pub was full of football-watching fans we were duly shown to a table. Can't fault the service. I had a steak pie and my girlfriend had the salmon pasta. Both were commendable Everything a pub should be!

Great food, cosy atmosphere and friendly service. A little bit out of the center of town, but always full of people.
