“Excellent two night stay”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

We booked via laterooms.com, a mistake and would book directly with the Hotel in future. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff very efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was excellent both mornings and we could not fault anything about the quality and amount of food available. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the City centre and there are many restaurants to choose from. We will definitely be back as the location is perfect with loads of parking at the rear.

We stayed here for one night while visiting family in Inverness. We had a double room in the Braeness Building on the top floor.

Pros:
The building had been recently refurbished and was nice and modern.
The bed was large (bigger than a double) and comfy and the room was very clean.
There was a good selection at breakfast.

Cons:
The shower didn't train well and the water collected in the bath.
The bathroom window could do with a blind for privacy.
The TV signal didn't work but this didn't really matter to us as we weren't wanting to watch anything.
The bedroom window wouldn't close properly.
The main door to the building slams shut and whenever someone came in/out of the building the noise woke us up.

Overall we were pleased with our stay and would stay here again. The hotel is in a good location for the city centre.

Just returned from a long weekend Easter break at the Glen Mhor and I have to say that this is an excellent place to stay. We had the Junior Suite which gave us two rooms so our kids had their own room and gave us some privacy at night when they went to be bed early. The hotel is well located for walks along the river and is close to the town. The staff were also first class and worked tirelessly to ensure our stay was a happy one. I hope they get paid well and are appreciated by the owners.

Room Tip: The Junior Suite offers two rooms with a dividing door (which has no door).

On our arrival, reception staff who is the image reflection of the hotel, is unfriendly and it can be seen on their face while they talk to you (it's the first Time I exprience such un familiar situation) and they have to deal with many other problems of customers complainning about wifi not working in room, toilette broken etc. Even us we were given a newly furnished room but it was still smelling very strong painting and I drink a tea, the water tap turn brown And I have to ask a new room . We wait for very Long Time as Check in only 3 pm !!

Our new room on the riverside very nice but any view of the riverside ...but a wall. The room is well equipped and there is tea/ coffee and biscuit included in the room.

Breakfast was very good and staff serving breakfast was very smiling. That's the positive thing.

Well situated along the river ness. But prefer to pay more and get a higher standard of welcome than there.

... isolation null, you can hear your neighbour walking ..

I will never come back again to this hotel.

Room Tip: Rear riverside appartment = wall + noise
