This is en elegant and beautiful place to stay. Service is perfect and the walled garden is a great place to visit. Our room (14) was large with a working fireplace and a view of the front large lawn. It is perfectly located near the airport and Inverness city.
The only small negative was the food. Although it was adequate, it did not match the elegance of the manor. However, the drinks were well prepared and ample. The concierges were very courteous and helpful. Room service was fair.

We had a three night stay at Culloden House. The Manor House itself ia physically beautiful from the outside as are the grounds. The room, while large, was a little on the tired side from a furnishings standpoint. The bathroom also could stand a little upgrade. All of that being said our stay was wonderful. The staff couldn't have been more attentive, especially Noel. Everyone was absolutely wonderful and all had a can do way about them. The food was also a wonderful surprise. Breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from. Dinner likewise. We highly recommend.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a king bed. There is no air conditioning

We travelled to Scotland in June 2015 and whilst in the Highlands stayed at Culloden House. We stayed in the Garden house which looks onto a private walled garden. The food was out of this world, as were the rooms. L'Occitane products, a HUGE bathroom (the shower is a bit tricky at first however), plush robes.....The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and special shout out to Carl. He made our trip! Terrific location, I highly recommend the trip to Culloden Moor and Fort George. Such beautiful scenery, it was like an Enid Blyton fairy tale!!

Room Tip: Book a room in the Garden House and don't forget to take a wander around the grounds. Spectacular gardens.

We were on a golf tour of the local area and stayed for three nights. The highlight was dinner in a private room on the first night, excellent food and service. Breakfast each morning was a little hit and miss with the service staff not able to get the order right! In general though the staff were all excellent. The hotel itself though is shabby and in need of some love and attention, the decor and furnishings in general are tired. My shower was very fickle and ran hot and cold. Could be a really great place to stay.

We arrived at Culloden House and were greeted like long lost cousins. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. We had a 2 room suite. WOW!!!
One room served as a parlor /lining room. With a small table and 2 chairs, a sofa and two easy chairs.

The bedroom had a wardrobe king bed and large desk. The 2 bathrooms were roomy and well supplied.

The food in the dining room was delicious and the service was excellent.

There is a huge garden ghat is a must to tour.

Dear drptexas,

Thank you for reviewing your stay, I will ensure I pass on your kind comments regarding dinner to the kitchen and wait staff.

The Walled Garden was late in blooming this year but has been spectacular in the Fall.
