This is a great place to visit. There is a small cafe serving good food at mezzanine level, where you can sit and wonder at all the books crammed into this old church building. It's somewhat haphazard in there and on my first visit I was slightly alarmed at the open fire among all that old crisp paper but it just feels right! A great place to visit for a pit stop while in the city and if you love books you'll be happy to spend a good deal of time browsing the shelves.

If you are looking for books Leakey's is for you. Masks sure you have enough time though there's are thousands of books on any category you can name. And when you have had enough of books climb thee spiral staircase and enjoy the wonderful food and drinks they have on offer. Well worth a visit.

The exterior of the building hides the gem of a bookstore inside. The balcony of the converted church houses a cafe serving good food at great prices. One could spend an entire day just exploring the maps, prints, and books in Leakey's. The perfect place for anyone to escape from a day of touring Inverness.

What a gem. If you are a book lover, you need to stop by. Take a deep breath and smell the books. A building full of history and books strewn everywhere, I could spend all day in here! What a joy.

If you can read, you must make the time for Leakey's. Sit and have some tea and just take it in, and then begin to explore. You will love it.
