Sit by the river, or stroll along it. It adds to the beauty of Inverness! Easily accessible from the high street.

“The best things are free!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 8, 2014

I don't usually review attractions, but I think it's worth telling visitors to Inverness about the Ness River walk. It's one thing you won't have to shell out money to enjoy. We discovered it by chance, a tree-filled sanctuary just minutes from the city centre. We started just below the castle and followed the path along the east bank, crossing Victorian foot bridges onto the little Ness Islands. On the way we exchanged pleasantries with locals, were entranced by a slope filled with rabbits and daffodils, and wandered through stands of Scots pine, fir, beech and sycamore. Coming back along the west bank we visited St Andrews Cathedral. A lovely, peaceful, low-key way to explore Inverness.

“Top Class Theatre in the Heart bof the Highlands”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2014

Eden Court Theatre and Cinema Complex - along with its restaurant and bars, is a 'must' for any visitor to Inverness. They present a vast range of high-quality touring productions (Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet to top class stand up comedians and everything in between. The two cinemas show the latest releases in a very comfortable setting and the restaurant is great for a pre-theatre meal. I just love this place!

“Nessy”

Boat had poor seating accommodations; however, the pilot/guide was good. The company should update it's boat.
