As four happy Americans traveling Scotland, we actually stopped at another inn that was closed for renovations. The manager of that inn called and booked us here. What a lucky chance for us! Steve greeted us at the door where he showed us into a drawing room, and served us a fabulous dinner in front of a fireplace! It had been a very long, rainy day of travel. This evening turned out to be our most memorable while in Scotland! We wanted to experience the people and places of Scotland on our trip. This was perfect! We fell in love with everything about this inn....and we wanted to take Steve home with us! Stay here if you can!

Amazing wedding venue. Got married on the 28th october of this year. I have not met more helpful people nothing was a problem from booking it. Food is amazing best food i have ever tasted and my guests as well. Brilliant staff all helpful and polite and were falling over themselves to help us. Venue is beautiful and in beautiful grounds. Stayed in the mackay room with underfloor heating and a whirlpool bath! You have to book this as your wedding venue you will not be dissapointed!

Room Tip: choose the mackay nice big room, huge bathroom, underfloor heating and whirlpool bath. amazing views...

Sitting on the outskirts of Inverness - a lovely old house!!! Very grand and in a beautiful setting right on the waterfront - lovely for a walk around in the gardens!!! Stayed here a night as flying to London early next day!! Lovely setting and views!! Room lovely and overlooking the firth! Cant remember the name of it but it faced the Kessock Bridge!! Had dinner and it was absolutely delicious and couldnt fault it! Crackling wood fires burning in the lounge and bar areas!! Didnt have breakfast as had to be away early but hotel arranged a "breakfast pack" which we never had as rushing!! Would stay again and would recommend!! Room didnt have bright bulbs and was a bit dark would be my only negative!

Bunchrew was about 15 to 20 minutes from Inverness. We were looking for a place that we could use as a base to travel around Inverness. This was a great location. Our room was big and clean. We didn't have any neighbours in the rooms next to us so it was quiet. I think it would have been quiet even if there were more patrons. We loved the dining room, very elegant and the food was delicious. We ate dinner there all three nights. Breakfast was good although one morning they seemed short staffed and I didn't get all my breakfast, so I finally gave up and headed out. I think there was only one girl serving the whole dining room.
The hotel is on the Firth and had lovely sunsets.

We held our wedding here on Saturday 27th October 2012 and had an amazing time! The house is a perfect wedding venue with a great location, wonderful food and brilliant service. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff (even for some of our MORE demanding family :-) they were very friendly and really became part of our wedding. We were so sad to leave and cannot wait to go back on our anniversary.

Room Tip: We recommend the Craigton Suite which is slightly detached from the main hotel with its own conserva...

I spent 1 night here on route to West Coast and it was really lovely. Cosy, quite grand, comfortable room and lounge areas with open fire and games. Kids were welcomed in lounge and dinning room by friendly and helpful staff. The views of Beauly Firth are lovely and we were thrilled by the red squirrels in the garden. Apparently the dolphins swim by occassionally too. Would definately stay here again.

After booking very late and being blessed with luck to get the last (and best!) room available we had a great stay at this hotel. After a week wildcamping on the Western Isles we needed a little luxury and certainly got it. The food was fantastic and the chef catered for my partners dietary (coeliac) requirements brilliantly and without fuss, tailoring what he wanted rather than offering him a limited selection. All of the staff were professional, friendly and helpful, even though we arrived looking rather bedraggled and spend very little over out DB&B rate. The views are fantastic, the room was beautiful. In short this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we will be back perhaps for a special occasion in the future!

Room Tip: Go for the Wyvis Suite for a treat, what an amazing view!
