The waterfront is a lovely traditional pub on the banks of the river ness about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. I loved the atmosphere, the splendid river views and the fine real ale on tap. The bar was very clean and service was good.I thought the food was adequate pub food but not on a par with nearby restaurants. I had mussels. It was a small portion, a little chewy and had lots of broken shells. The trench sandwich was not toasted and a little soggy. I'd return for good beer, atmosphere and bar snacks but I'd go elsewhere for a good dining experience.
