“Brilliant.”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

Stayed over at my friend's house in Inverness for a night, planning to go see the Dark Knight Rises. We left it a bit late to leave so we really hurried there. Found out the film had subtitles which was brilliant as I was really worried I wouldn't understand Bane. My friend is in a wheelchair so we sat at the back of the theatre, which was the best seats in my opinion. Great staff who are very friendly.

“Eden Court restaurant”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

Service was a little slower than I had expected but the food was good when it arrived and the service was friendly and efficient. Considering they have to produce a large number of meals before the start of the show, it is well worth considering.

“Feels like a motorway cafe”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

How can you ruin a nigh perfect location, bohemian ambience (a given at this venue !) , lovely modern architecture ? Just implant a British motorway cafe with indifferent service and average food overpriced and bingo ! I suspect this has been handed over to a management company who submitted the cheapest tender. The offering is disjointed with a cafe and a restaurant separated by one very large ground floor space . Forget intimacy here , you feel you are eating in a large arena with no areas of focus. It's a cold distant feeling as a customer not helped by the impersonal service delivered by the usual army of part time students, ne'r do wells, disinterested mums , and trainees. You really want to leave as soon as possible. A big let down for such an important (arguably the most important) community venue in Inverness. So much more could be made of this, it takes its customers for granted because of a captive audience at performance times for example. There's a community cinema club near Exhibition Square in Edinburgh that sets a great benchmark here, so Eden Court management please wake up and work harder please, we deserve more from you given that you have received a good deal of public funding, albeit now diminishing. I really want Eden Court to step up to the plate here and excel

“Great Cinema”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

The theatre is average but the hidden gem is the little cinema.

It has no popcorn, few children and no mobile phones blinking away. The seats are large and comfortable, there are attendants on view and best of all it has a bar attached and you can take your drinks in with you.

One of Inverness's best kept secrets
