We decided to try this out on a Wednesday night after reading the reviews. We had been in the area for a week's holiday. Finding the place was a little tricky due to the on-going roadworks in the city centre but we got parked right outside.
We arrived 6.30pm to find plenty of tables available. We ordered from the a la carte menu instead of having the set meal (£20 per head). The food arrived quickly and was excellent, hot and tasty. Service was friendly, by the time we left 6-7 tables were occupied, I would inagine on a busy night the atmosphere would be better.
For two starters, three main and three desserts plus soft drinks the bill came to £70. Well worth the visit for something different.
