Description: THE CLACHNAHARRY INN a great 'craic' pub with emphasis on being friendly. The 'Clach' is an institution in the local area & serves 4 cask ales alongside other draught beers, lagers and ciders. It’s an informal pub that delivers highland hospitality & great food. What's better is that we love what we do! We are also a dog friendly pub & dogs are welcome in our bar & beer garden while our restaurant is dog free. The dugs even have their own biscuit barrel and water bowls. A Take-Away Menu is available 7 days a week, Simply pop in & have a drink while you wait for your freshly cooked meal, or phone in advance & pick it up on your way past. Awarded Inverness area Pub of the Year in 2017 & now Runner up Pub of the Year Highlands and Islands 2018 by CAMRA accolades we are proud of. New owners took over in Dec 2017 & are striving to provide what customers want. Subtle decor in the restaurant adds to the dining experience & the bar has added many fine Malts & BT Sport to enjoy, Come on in.

This is another place I've been intending to visit for some while. Unfortunately I was less than impressed. the menu was rather limited and I'm sorry to say the quality was sadly lacking.

I had garlic mushrooms to start with which were most uninspiring, having been carelessly prepared and poorly presented. As for the fish and chips, well the fish was grossly overcooked and caked in an almost inedible batter. Truly poor.

The only saving grace was the beer which was good and saved this from being just 2 stars.

Wife & I went for pre-cinema meal on back of previous TA reviews. Sadly the pub is now off our recommended list. Very average pub food. The service was friendly however having had a fabulous experience a year ago, our exitement was crushed by the laminated menu & dull choice.

The pub has recently changed owners and whilst the food was out of this world, the pub had lost a lot of it's atmosphere. Very pleased to say that we had an amazing meal there tonight, back to what the Clachnaharry does best, great food served by very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere at the bar.
The menu is a mix of all the usuals you would expect to find on a good pub menu, but our steaks far exceeded a normal pub experience. Can't wait to go back again.

This pub has recently changed hands and although it's early days the signs look good.
Chef makes a great pot of soup & the Sunday roast is everything you could ask for.Very reasonably priced .
Also very nice choice of wines and real ales, good luck to those in their new venture.
