“Lunch. Very attentive staff and good food, well presented.”
Reviewed August 19, 2011

Second visit and better than last time. Chicken Liver pate and soup of the day starters were good. Pate excellent. My seared bream was lovely and Wendy's enchiladas very good too.
Including drinks this only cost £18 for lunch and service made it worth rounding up.

Ate outside on top floor. Drizzled for a while but none blew in on us.

“A lovely meal in a very modern building”
Reviewed August 15, 2011

We had a lovely meal in this three storey glass fronted building. We were on the ground floor, unfortunately not at the front, but they have the kitchen projected on to the wall and you can watch the chef preparing your dinner - quite a novel idea! They offer quite an extensive menu along with a specials board. Great food, well presented. Didn't get the chance to try their sister restaurant on the other side of the river, The Mustard Seed.

“great food, wonderful menu.. Fresh”
Reviewed August 14, 2011

we went twice as the food was fresh and excellant. the fish was prepared well. Ask for low salt as they can be heavy with it in Scotland. ask for a table facing the river. the menu is the same as Mustard seed across the street. Same owners so either is fine

“Excellent Food and Service”
Reviewed August 4, 2011

After really enjoying the Mustard Seed which is owned by the same people we decided to try the Kitchen.

We ate from the early evening menu which considering you get a glass of wine and two courses is fantastic value.

The food and service was excellent.

I would highly recommend.
