Ok busy not a particularly stunning place compared to duncansby head further up coast . But what I expected nice views of Orkney and rest of coast worth a visit

views, lighthouse, monument, charming. Excellent parking. Didnt dislike anything - nothing to dislike to be totally honest.

This is truly the Northernmost point of the mainland (not John O'Groats). It is quite a drive to get there and there is no café/souvenir shop or anything like that - it is a headland with a view point - providing it is not raining! There is also a notice board from the RSPB indicating the different birds you might see.

We stopped off here after visiting John O'Groats and I wish we hadn't bothered with the former. Despite there not being many touristy things it was great to be at the UK's most Northerly point and the views and wildlife were worth the trip.

Well worth a visit, make sure you go up past the light house to see the view plus the ruins of WW2 buildings, what a remote place to of been sent.
