“A good wake up call”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

A beautiful windswept headland with great views of the Orkneys. Loads of interesting birds nest there and there is a lot of useful information

“Remarkable”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

Although the weather was somewhat uncooperative when we were there, the visit was well worth it. If you've come this far north, you owe it to yourself to go to Dunnet Head.

“Dunnet Head, Thurso”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

This is the furthest point north on the mainland, go up to the viewpoint and on a clear day you can see right along the north coast of Scotland. No facilities here, but well worth a visit if you are visiting this far north.

“Better than John O'Groats”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

If you like an impressive cliff face, sea birds and crashing sea, which I do, then this is a better spot in which to feel you are at the top of Great Britain with not a tea room in site. Easy road access not too many people feels wild and good.

“The very north”

Right at the top of the island of Great Britain well worth a visit just look out and take in the air.

Nice view all around for the top of the hill nearby.
