A really nice castle to visit. The tour is well directed and there is a lot to see. In the Dining room you get a good overview of the gardens. The gardens as always depend on the season for their gift but even in September 2019 there was enough to enjoy.
The museum in the garden advises some may be offended by the content however the building is lovely and the content a reflection of the history of the area. Included in the ticket price is a Falconry Display and it is impressive. A knowledgeable Falconer does entertain. Did enjoy our lunch here good food at a reasonable price in a nice setting.
