This is a lovely village with a beautiful priory which is definitely worth a visit. From the beautiful old tree at the gate entrance, to the red stone ruins, it just oozes history. Parking is free all along the main road and there are numerous gift shops dotted along the main street. The opposite end of the street from the priory is a tartan shop where you step back in time and is a must to visit. Add to this a Deli to die for which not only sells wonderful local produce and Scottish fayre but has a whole range of meals and hot drinks on offer that make it hard to choose - Beauly may be small but is has so much to recommend it and is not to be missed.
