We visited this cafe on 25 April and ordered Leek & Potato soup. The soup arrived and it was a clear stock based soup with lots of diced carrots a little diced potato but with no visible leeks and there was a film of fat on top. I said to the man who served us (who appeared to be the proprietor) "we ordered Potato & Leek" he replied "that is Potato & Leek" he took it away and all we had was a cup of tea. The cafe specialities appeared to be "Toasties" and Corned Beef sandwiches (which were written up on a 'specials' board) heaven knows what the posh Southern Ski set make of this effort in the culinary arts but The Coffee Corner does not do itself, Aviemore or the Scottish Tourist Board any favours
