A nice hostel - maybe a bit pricier than some, but not over-priced, and they have an ensuite family room (a double and two bunks, with what looked like a sofa bed) which lets you spread you stuff out a bit. The kitchen's fairly small, but the hostel's not enormous, so that wasn't a problem when we were there (which included a Friday night). All clean and comfortable, though the beds did squeak a bit!
Pub next door is very nice (and no problems with noise from outside - the double glazing must have been effective!) Food pricey but high quality. Some good beers. Aviemore shops are about a five minute walk away.
Best of all was the staff, who were really amazingly helpful and friendly, definitely going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks very much to them!
