Hotel facilities good- indoor pools with slide and soft play area which does cost extra. Good choice of eating areas. Pasta and pizza buffet good fun with make your own ice cream pudding. Bistro food lovely. Well organised breakfast buffet with waffle maker. Pool area needs updating but great fun.

Had a lovely meal with my family while staying in the hotel. It's very modern and everyone enjoyed the meal. We booked it for half past 8 and the restaurant was still very busy. The chicken was really very nice. Our waiter was very attentive an friendly. Our rooms were originally a corridor away from each other but after asking a member of staff if that could be changed so that we were beside each other that was done promptly. The hotel lounge has a great atmosphere and it's nice to see the hotel is so family orientated. We got good use out of the swimming pool and spa also. All and all, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were nice and spacious Food was well catered for Maintenance was abysmal as fire alarms changed whilst my young son was sleeping and then wanted to test it worked - told them hell no. Pool was nice but chute was not opened in the morning we tried to use we were all told to get out the pool and use the other one .. bit strange and no explanation. ATM machine in lobby didnt work so unless you walked 40 mins to Tesco at Train station or brought money with you then everything had to be on debit / credit cards. Soft drinks were so expensive £3 for a coke Internet in rooms kept dropping all the time and you had to sign back in when you locked phone ... The fun house was rammed full of kids - no staff looking out so kids older than 10 running in and out of the under 2 year old section - my son was knocked over number of occasions from other kids running about he got scared by this and didn't want to go back in .... oh and you have to pay for this .. not included in the near £400 for 2 nights you paid in advance. Overall I feel it was overpriced - i understand its the summer holidays so prices are a bit more, I think next time I would stay at the McDonald hotel which seemed to have alot more options to it than this hotel.

Thank you for your comments on your recent stay at Hilton Coylumbridge. We have had contractors within the property doing an annual test on all of our fire related equipment and all bedrooms were required to have their smoke detectors tested, not alarms but am sorry you were disturbed. I am sure that it would not have been an issue for the contractors to come back to you room at a more suitable time as they would not have known if guests were in rooms or out of the hotel

Concerning the Fun House, this is not a child care facility although we do offer supervised soft play sessions.

Had a 3 night stay in a double double room from 21st July 2013 and enjoyed a relaxing stay. The room was very comfortable lovely soft feather pillows and 2 comfy double beds. Enjoyed hot weather and the bed room we stayed in was comfortable at night and did not get overly hot so we all slept really well. Got a dinner B&B deal although had to pay extra for the girls because of their age but would have preferred to pay a supplement when booking to cover this. Breakfast was very good, lovely sausages, pancakes and make your own waffle's which the girls enjoyed one day although very popular and constant queue with 2 machines constantly on the go. Tried both options for evening meal in the Inverdruie restaurant, but preferred the earlier option of the Italian style Buffet as it gave the girls a greater choice, they were not keen on the main menu choices available when we tried the later dining option.
Yes the drinks are expensive from the bar but hey its to be expected in a hotel although there was a vending machine just off the main lobby and we ended up sending the girls there to buy their cans of coke while we purchased our drinks at the bar.
The pool was great for the girls and I enjoyed the sauna.

In the evenings we sat in the lobby listening to the music coming from the function room which was pleasant, the girls were happy with the free Wi-Fi available there which of cause encouraged you to sit there chilling out buying drinks from the bar which is situated in the lobby along with a costa coffee outlet which is open during the day selling slushies' and pop corn another money magnet.
We also tried the crazy golf at the fun house which was charged at a reduced rate for hotel guest and was fun.
The location is excellent and we had a lovely day just down the road on the sandy beach at Loch Morlich and there was a good enough selection of shops in Aviemore itself to keep the girls happy. The staff all appeared courteous and pleasant throughout and overall we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to go again.

Room Tip: We stayed on the ground floor facing a wooded area which meant it was nice and quiet.... I think it was room 17.
