Thank you for your comments concerning your recent stay at Hilton Coylumbridge. I am sorry that you found your bed to be uncomfortable. As you do not say whether you reported this at the time and give us the opportunity to make your stay more comfortable.
my husband and i have just returned from this hotel after a weekend break which was very dissapointing.when we arrived check in was fine and fairly quick.when i booked this online there was only rooms with two single beds availaible,when we arrived at room it was clean but the two single beds were tiny and the mattress was paper thin,i went straight back to reception and complained and was given another room with two double beds which were fine.The room was clean and comfy and the only complaint i would have was that there is no air con ,cracks in washhand basins and the extractor fan in bathroom does not work.We were booked in for 2 nights and on the first night the dinner was terrible,starter main and desert were disgusting,i complained about this and was offered a free drink which i did not want as i dont drink much alcohol.when we left the dining area we sat in the lounge area as there was live music being played,it was busy and we sat at a table which had the remains of the last customers on the table,we thought this would be cleared up quikly but it remained all night and the table was dirty,i then went to use the toilets in the foyer area and they were also disgusting,paper towels all over the floor whiskey bottles in bins and the smell was terrible.next morning we complained to the duty manager about all our problems and she apoligised and said shewould address our complaints,to be fair our meal on the 2nd night was better although very average.In all this is one of the worst hiltons we have stayed in.and we have stayed all over the uk and north america in hilton group hotels.It is terrible that a hotel in the scottish highlands has no obvious scottish connection ie no tartan anywhere,the staff are 90percent eastern european so have no knowledge of the local area,The weekend we stayed was halloween and on the sat night the children all had on there outfits but the foyer area had not as much as a cobweb up.I would not stay here again the weekend cost over £200 but i have stayed in better travelodges which are a fraction of the price

Stayed here for our anniversary. Rooms were average, could really be doing with being updated, had a view out to the woodland. Loads of facilities within the hotel, pool, gym, leisure room and wellness area. If you want any treatments book in advance as there was nothing left the day we arrived. If your going exploring I would say the hotel is situated well for those who like the outdoors. We ate in the adult only restaurant and it was lovely but overpriced and teeny portions!! Bar/lounge area is comfortable and a good chill out area. Think the hotel in general is overpriced for what it is though.

The majority of our guests stay with us on a dinner bed and breakfast tarriff so I would be interested to know if you feel that the price paid for your overall stay was slightly on the expensive side or if it was that you found amentities on offer at the hotel were too expensive.
My sister and i recently visited The Coylumbridge on the 23/10/2011 with our husbands. We were keen to go back having spent much time their as children. Although we did not stay, we went for lunch in the foyer. It was all in all a very disappointing experience. The member of staff which took the orders treated us with utter contempt from the start. Everything appeared to be a hassle. The food arrived which was vile and swimming in grease. We also ordered some butternut soup, which was revolting. Upon leaving i highlighted the issue with the meal and the soup, the staff member asked "what do you want me to do about it" and nobody else complained. I stated i felt a refund would be in order for the soup, which she confirmed she would have to get a manager to authorise, which is fair enough, however i feel her attitude was even more disgusting than the grease soaked baguettes. A very disappointing experience and such a shame as we had such fond memories off the Coylumbridge.
Very nice place little expensive but still worth the money and i will return.
Food was excellent.

We had a 4 night stay in a family room at this hotel in October. The welcoming lounge and caring staff on arrival made us immediately feel at home. Our room was clean and pleasant with all that we needed for a short break. Each morning the children watched squirrels in the pretty wooded area from their beds.
The choice of things to eat at Breakfast was fantastic. From platters of Sm Salmon, cold meats and cheeses to bowls of nuts and fruits along with the traditional cooked Scottish B'fasts served hot and constantly being refeshed in large silver hotplates.
Considering there seemed to be many families like us and we stayed during a holiday period, the hotel seemed to cope well with the mix of children and couples with enough comfortable areas to find your own space.
We all loved the fact that all the fun and entertainment on offer - swimming, fun house, golf, parks, quiz, magic acts, disco, were all so accessible.
We had a great stay and would love to return.
When I returned home the hotel contacted me to let me know I'd left my hair straightners and then posted them home to me with no extra cost. Thank you housekeeping.
