Description: The Druie takes its name from the burn(river) that rushes behind the restaurant and always seems in a hurry to carry clear, sparkling mountain water from the Cairngorms to the River Spey. We are open daily 9.30am - 5.00pm for locally roasted coffee, locally sourced tasty lunches, leaf teas and delicious homemade cakes, with a focus on dishes prepared from lovingly home produced beef from our pedigree herd of Highland cattle, our velvety venison from the ancient forest of Rothiemurchus and seasonal produce from specialist producers, served in a relaxed, friendly environment. Whilst enjoying your coffee or lunch at the Druie, you can enjoy the exhibition of local artwork which changes each month, especially selected by Ellie, who manages the Gallery at Loch an Eilein and is also a member of Creative Cairngorms.

Had lunch here a couple of days while staying at the Hilton along the road. What the Hilton lacks in authentic Scottish warmth the Drurie more than makes up for. The staff are cheery and the home made soup and scones are delicious. The log burning stove just is the icing on the cake!! Oh and the gift shop next door is fabulous if you have to wait for a table.

We visited here a couple of times this week and we're really impressed. Nice coffee, great cakes and first rate burgers. Can't wait to be back for more. Very helpful and friendly service too.

Walked up to this restaurant from nearby campsite for a coffee and cake. Lovely staff and pretty decor combined with excellent coffee and cake made it a worthwhile visit. Returned for lunch the following day and had one of the best burgers ever. Perfectly cooked and paired with great salad, salsa and red onion marmalade. Just had to test a scone afterwards......lived up to their tasty appearance. The problem will be trying anywhere else as this place is so good.

Visited The Druie on 3 occasions over a long weekend. Superb service with fantastic food, cakes & coffee. Best carrot cake I've ever tasted. Lovely friendly staff, never had to wait for a table & certainly never rushed out. Also offers selection of gluten free goodies. Wish more places existed like this in Glasgow & around Scotland as this beats the same old coffee shops you find everywhere! Thanks & we'll be back!

This is a lovely place - the food is just amazing and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. This is a great example of 5* Scottish fare ... you will be pleased you called in!
