What a wonderful place. We booked ahead as we had a campervan. Carafe of water on the table at outset ... done deal, we love this. No problem with staying overnight so we could both have a drink and stopover. The staff were young and superb. Nice house wine and not too pricey at £22 a bottle for the Merlot. We had starters of smoked trout (nice) and whipped goats cheese (very nice). Mains were pork belly - absolutely delicious and hake with risotto and smoked tomato sauce. Yummy, light and gorgeous. Well done chef. Presentation lovely and taste delicious on both mains. We couldn't manage sweet. Thanks fo carafe of water on table ... we always want one and it's awful to need to ask so you definitely made us feel good straight away. Nicely fuzzy as we crawled into bed. Our bill including wine and tip was £82 and we were very happy. Two starters, two mains, bottle of wine and two additional drinks. All foodbwas quite salty so drink lots of water. We look forward to our return very much.
