Description: We use some of Scotland's best local produce to create healthy, wholesome & interesting food with a Kiwi twist. We opened our doors in 2004 and have been gaining awards and accolades for our antipodean style coffees, delicious breakfasts, superb lunches & fresh home baking ever since. Our service is friendly & casual with a professional team from all over the world. The café offers excellent views of the Cairngorm Mountains - enjoy our balcony area during summer and the cosy log burner to sit by during the winter months. All the pictures are of our food - why not come in and sample our hospitality when you are in the area next?

“Excellent quality but expensive.”

We enjoyed a great breakfast in this busy and friendly cafe. Food was excellent, recommend the Kiwi Style Pancakes. Only downside is it's not cheap. However, it will keep you going to enjoy the outdoors.

“Nae bad”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

Given the queue to get in we were expecting something special.....the food was fine but it took too long to arrive. Also they need to move to bigger premises, it's too small.

“Great food but very low service”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

We went here for a Saturday brunch arriving at 10.30. We ordered a full breakfast, eggs benedict and pancakes. The food took 40mins to arrive. Not sure why it took so long. Yes it was great food when it came but you expect breakfast (simple to prepare) a bit quicker. The food was lovely and the pancakes great for the kids. Nice view of the mountains. Lots of pencils for the kids, but they all needed sharpening (points broken). Also very hot in the restaurant when we were there. Overall average as great food let down by poor service.

“A long wait but food good”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

Hubby and me got there fairly earlyish, maybe 10am. We thought it was full but a nice chap with dreadlocks showed us to a table round the corner.
He came back, not too long later and took our order.
A nice wee lass brought our tea and coffee a few minutes later. All good so far.
We then waited 40 minutes for our breakfast. It was a long 40 mins.....
The food was nice, but not exceptional, and I wouldn't wait 40 mins for it again. The staff however, were all super.

“Fantastic breakfast”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

Great place for breakfast or tea and cake. Huge portions and choice including wheat free. Different interesting breads, changes daily. Very friendly service. Good views over Cairngorms. On first floor, so need to be o.k with stairs.
