We stayed here one night earlier this year. It is a really nice B&B. The owbner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome in her home. She knew a lot about the area and was able to offer us a lot of advice. The breakfast was good and just what we needed after a night out with friends! Beautiful part of the country.

We had booked in for one night when making a cross Scotland trip on mountain bikes. We were surprised to find nobody in when we arrived at agreed time but there was a note pinned to the door so we let ourselves in. All we really wanted was a good shower and somewhere to warm up after a wet and windy day. The bathroom was an internal room with no proper ventilation. There was no hot water for a bath - and the shower produced only intermittent warm-ish water.
When somebody arrived (not the landlady who we never met) - we asked if we could have some heating on as we were cold - and were told it would come on later. It was already 7 pm!

The rooms were quite small - and my two friends had frequent collisons with the low attic ceilings.

Breakfast was the final disappointment being rather under cooked and not particularly well presented.
All in all - we felt rather poor value for money and a rather cold welcome - in rather sharp contrast to the very warm welcome we received on the other 4 nights of our trip.
