“GREAT fries - yummy nachos”
Reviewed April 26, 2014

Great spot to stop in Aviemore - especially if you are in the mood for a burger or some nachos (they even have jalapenos for those in need of some spice!). My favorite friend in the UK (so far). Family-friendly.

“Good place to stop”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

Called in on spec for dinner whilst travelling up the A9. We were starving! The place looked full but the staff soon found us a table. Service was quick, menu was varied, but interestingly enough whilst done up with Ozzie memorabilia, no kangaroo or specific ozzie meat.

Food was good and plentiful with good friendly service. A couple of puzzling things with the drinks, partner ordered an ozzie beer and was told they didn't have any, but it was on the drinks menu. I had a glass of ozzie chardonnay, BUT it was clear that it had been diluted somewhat be water - not terrible pleasant. So I would say steer clear of wines by the glass, and stick with either bottles, or bottled beer. (Didn't bother to complain as we were tired and just wanted to be on our way quickly.)

Lots of families around enjoying themselves as well.

“Great lunch place”
Reviewed April 25, 2014 via mobile

Enjoyed on 2014-04-18 at 1300 for lunch. First visit and will return. We arrived on foot after a beautiful loop walk along the river. Price was reasonable. Staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. Food quality was excellent. Had burger, fries, and drink. Patrons were from young to senior. Excellent place for families. Setting at railway station is convenient. Highly recommended.

Always sure of fabulous food.
Rice with the mexican dishes could be more mexican but not a complaint at all.

“Awful food and service”
Reviewed April 16, 2014 via mobile

Called in for tea on way up north. Both had the smallest potato skins I have ever seen and then a chilli con carne that tasted faintly of detergent before winding up with an average chocolate sundae. All over priced, with terribly overpriced drinks. Staff all too busy, harassed to care too much
