“Excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

My family and I ate here on the last night of our holiday, if only we'd gone there on the first night! Very family friendly, staff helpful and happy! I had the best steak fajitas ever! Reasonably priced. Recommend booking as people were waiting for tables. Look forward to eating there again!

“Good quality food/restaurant with a bit of innovation”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

Trekking up and down the high street and looking for somewhere a bit "different", we opted to go Australian and stopped at Roo's Leap. Diners have a wide selection to choose from and quality / service are both of a high standard, although I'm not sure I saw much evidence of food from "down under". We had a selection of vegetarian food and sandwiches, the highlight of which is a lightly seasoned and fried onion, which is well worth a try.

In a small town which seems to have more than its fair share of exceptional places to eat, Roo's Leap is a place well worth a visit.

“Really good food and very attentive staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013

We visited after climbing the cairnGorm and the portion sizes were just what we needed, and the place is right were the bus drops you off so we didn't have to walk far on sore legs. Also had just a drink here earlier and you get a free lollipop with each order!

“Friendly staff, great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

We ate in Roo's Leap for the third time on our holiday last thu. It wasn't planned but we had a very bad experience at another restaurant, and left without ordering. The staff were, as usual, warm, friendly and very attentive. Our food was delicious and came in good time, kids meals first, so we got to enjoy ours better after sorting out their plates. I'd recommend it to any families in town, the choice of burgers is just amazing!

“Tasty foo, nice staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2013

The food was very tasty, the staff were lovely and kept smiling, even though they were rushed off their feet. It's quite fun to watch the trains go by and you can feel the ground rumble too. I'd try there again.
