This is a lovely spot to walk along thepretty path, watching the boats going through the locks and having a cup of tea in the tea rooms.
A good spot for walkers and photographers alike.

We stopped here for an hour on route to Fort William and Spean Bridge. This is a really good insight into the waterways of the Scottish Highlands. The planning that went into this, is awesome. The area is very quiet and picturesque, we weren't fortunate to see the Locks in action, however, you can walk or cycle alongside the canal for miles. Well looked after, with places to stop for a cuppa and a little cafe here and there along the way. Worth a look. On a fine day you can walk or cycle for hours,

Sailed from Inverness, just a wonderful experience. The ship is beautiful, the cabins whilst not large are very comfortable. Food on board was excellent, the staff attentive. The scenery was amazing as were the included trips to some of the best sights in Scotland. Am amazing adventure through the canal.

Just sailed through the canal east to west & very well maintained &fantastic scenery all the way. Long parts of it though are not served well with shore side amenities. This can be seen as an advantages (but what about the econemy of the area?) All in all a fantastic experence if you can put up with some of the lock keepers itinerarys!!

Cruiser hired from Caley Cruisers Inverness. Fabulous company. Best customer service ever experienced.
Views of hills and mountains unsurpassable.
Loch Ness fabulous.
Lock keepers so helpful and friendly.
Beautifully maintained and good facilities all the way to Banavie and back.
Didn't want to go home!
