“Caledonian Canal - Neptunes Staircase”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2013

We stopped here for an hour on route to Fort William and Spean Bridge. This is a really good insight into the waterways of the Scottish Highlands. The planning that went into this, is awesome. The area is very quiet and picturesque, we weren't fortunate to see the Locks in action, however, you can walk or cycle alongside the canal for miles. Well looked after, with places to stop for a cuppa and a little cafe here and there along the way. Worth a look. On a fine day you can walk or cycle for hours,

“Beautiful ship, great scenery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2013

Sailed from Inverness, just a wonderful experience. The ship is beautiful, the cabins whilst not large are very comfortable. Food on board was excellent, the staff attentive. The scenery was amazing as were the included trips to some of the best sights in Scotland. Am amazing adventure through the canal.

“Fantastic bit of civil engeneering & very well maintained”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

Just sailed through the canal east to west & very well maintained &fantastic scenery all the way. Long parts of it though are not served well with shore side amenities. This can be seen as an advantages (but what about the econemy of the area?) All in all a fantastic experence if you can put up with some of the lock keepers itinerarys!!

“A fabulous trip on the Lord of the Glens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2013

I don't really know where to start as this trip was just fantastic. The boat takes around 50 guests I think and whilst it was relatively subdued - the scenery was breathtaking, the company great and really entertaining, the staff were subtle yet superb and the facilities were amazing. I really couldn't have imagined just how enjoyable it would be but I was blown away. I would recommend it to anyone.
