On the strength of reviews on trip adviser I decided to go into Bibis for a working lunch. The food is very reasonably priced and s obviously fresh. Add to that 3 courses bursting with flavour and you have one happy customer!!

I love Bibi's! The combination of the laid-back relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and simple but delicious food is a definite winner.

10/10 as always.

I went for lunch and the place was packed, I was lucky that one customer was just about to leave so I got her vacant table. I started with a lovely bowl of vegetable soup with a little bit of chilli added, it wasn't too spicy which was good for me as I don't like very spicy food, it came with a nice thick slice of white bread and two pats of butter and warmed me up nicely. I then had a sizzling platter with tortillas, chicken, onions, red and green peppers and tomatoes, the portions were huge. The meal was excellent and I'm very fussy about Mexican food having visited there five times. I was surprised to find out that Bibi's has no Mexican connections at all and the Glaswegian owner/owners has certainly captured the true taste of Mexico I had a Margarita which had a good shot of tequila but didn't taste authentic as before the tequila is added the liquid was poured into the glass from a machine and was quite runny. The glass had no salt around the rim and the waiter explained they don't have time to make tequilas as customers ask for them, so they make the mixture in bulk. The toilet was immaculate and had a small Mexican sink which was sweet. The food was very reasonably priced and I would certainly return next time I'm in Glasgow.

Excellent food, staff and ambience. Well worth a visit. Good range of dishes on the menu, Mexican meatball soup and lime cheesecake were delicious.

Recently went for a small Christmas night out (for 6 people). We ate from the pre-theatre menu, which is remarkably cheap and has a lot of choice. The place is small but busy, with a nice family atmosphere. Great cocktails too, can't wait to come back.
