“Average at best”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2013 via mobile

Visited here with my husband and really disappointe, the restaurant is overcrowded and poorly laid out, tables are jam packed in so you can forget a private conversation.. Food is very average there are much better Italians close by, if your shopping and want a quick filling lunch then it would be ok but nothing special I'm afraid

“Very dissapointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2013

I came here last Friday just as lunch start. I was very disappointing with the service and the food. There was about 6 members of staff on and i waited about 5 minutes before someone noticed i was looking to order another drink. After ordering this it then took a further 5 minutes to come to the table, even though there was only two other tables in. I could however hear the staff talking about new hairstyles and what they had done the previous night. Then a delivery of frozen lasagna came in which was quite off putting. I had the mozzarella balls to start which were really hard to bite in to. My partner had the mushrooms which just weren't that nice and you could tell that both had came strait from a packet. My pasta was lovely i had the penne aribiatta which was lovely however i asked for some extra chilli and then got charged over £1 for this!! I couldn't even taste the chilli in it so i doubt they put any extra in there! My partner got a pizza which he said was pretty bland. Overall the experience was just not up to scratch at all and i wont be back.

“Best restaurant in Glasgow”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

My husband and I have eaten here many times and i have to say EVERY single time we have - the food has been delicious (no matter what you have) and the service is fab.

Only slight downside is that the tables are pretty close together but overall a fantastic dining experience and would highly recommend it!

“Dont ask for extra chilli”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

This is a busy popular place. Good food and great service. However my only comment is that my husband asked for a little extra chilli in his pasta dish and we were charged £1.20 extra on our bill , i think this is a bit of a rip off and was very dissapointed

“Second visit...as good as ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013

This is without doubt my favourite Glasgow restaurant. Great choice of food and drink, excellent quality and a fast friendly service, and even a reasonable price for a city centre location.
