This pizza restaurant is a must visit if your passing through Glasgow on holiday or business. The food and service is different class and is as cheap as chips and they don’t even sell chips

Bustling restaurant with great atmosphere and delicious pizzas and salad. Couldn't fault disabled access. Only issue was the restaurant was busy and we were slightly rushed to pay and leave which is a little impolite.

Visited Paesano for lunch, the pizza was just like you get in the best pizza restaurant s in Naples. The service was quick, the pizza was huge and very reasonable at £8. They do specials every day and also have a guest craft beer on offer. The location is very central just off Goerge Square. Highly recommended!

OK, so you have to wait to get in (we were comparatively lucky in being told to come back in 25 minutes - when we did come back, new arrivals were being told to come back in an hour). What's refreshing about this restaurant is it does exactly what it says on the tin. If you don't want pizza, don't go there as, apart from a few sides, there is nothing else on the menu. The few pizzas that are offered are sensible options (no pineapple in sight, thank god). When the pizza does arrive, you will be in heaven - considering the very reasonable prices, the pizzas are large but what is most impressive is the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Paesano does not skimp on quality. House wine was also reasonably priced and good quality; carafes of tap water were brought without fuss and, if you fancy a little somethin while waiting for your pizza to come, opt for the fresh ricotta - big enough to share as a a little amuse-bouche between 2-3 friends and just full of flavour. Service was efficient but never over-bearing.

I wouldn't recommend it if you need to eat at a specific time and are not ready to wait, nor if you want an intimate table for 2. If you want a top quality meal at very reasonable prices and are prepared to wait to get in and don't mind sharing a larger table with other people, then you will love it. All in all, as far as I am concerned, everything is done just right.
