I went with my wife on a Friday lunchtime, and as usual we had to queue for a few minutes as it is so popular.
On our visit they had a few specials and we tried potato and cauliflower pakora and aubergine fritters as starters. These were freshly made, and were very tasty. For our main course we had Chicken Tikka with beetroot chutney, (which was totally different from the normal chicken tikka I've had in the past), a vegetable curry, one rice and one peshwari nan. These were excellent.
The total cost for the meal, which also included a pint of lager and a large white wine was £35 - superb value.
The curries were the best I've ever tasted in Glasgow, and among the best I've tasted anywhere - highly recommended

Pop out of Kelvingrove museum and cross the road to this great small restaurant. They serve their curries like tapas, and that’s so sensible as four small pots for two of you gives you extra variety. I love a thali for a similar reason but there the various curries are chosen for you. We had very good fish pakora, a delicious lamb and ginger curry, a smoked aubergine one, and okra and potato, plus name. All fresh and delicious.

Have been many a time, this place remains one of the best curry restaurants in the city. The food is fresh and delicious, served promptly. Stand out dishes are the butter chicken and the smoked aubergine.

They turn the tables round quickly but you don't feel rushed. All good.

Lunch for two in this very busy resteraunt (queue out the door when we were leaving). Service was very good with attentive waiting staff and food served timeously and politely. The dishes were well cooked and served truely hot (temperature wise). The only negative was that the curry main dishes were just too hot ( spicey wise) for us but that may not be the case for curry afficiandos.
