“What can I say other than perfect.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2013

Great food served by people who care. The best plan is to share and try as many things as possible. The butter chicken and lamb curry are fabulous. All staff are very friendly and helpful. This is one of the best restaurants I have been too and all the way home in the car all we we talk about was the high quality of the food. And to top it all of, it is great value for money.

“Superb, flavourful, well presented food A****”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2013

Visited Mother India's Cafe for the first time on a quiet Saturday afternoon and was completely blown away. We ordered fish pakora, chilli king prawns, garlic chilli chicken and one of the specials - ginger lamb with spinach. Each dish was full of flavour, colourful, aromatic and well presented. The lamb literally melts in your mouth!

I absolutely love the idea of Indian food served in a tapas-style, it is great to be able to pick and mix what you have. Means you can try lots of new things! I would also highly recommend trying one of the 'mocktails' on offer. I had a strawberry mojito which was wonderful, very refreshing on a hot day!

The staff were courteous, polite and attentive without overdoing it and the prices were very reasonable. (average £4-6 per dish) The decor of the restaurant is simple yet stylish.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough, i will definitely be going back next time I'm in Glasgow!

“Best in Scotland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2013

Visisted Mother Indias Cafe yesterday for the 10th time I think. This is without doubt the best Indian restaurant in the country. Friendly staff and quickly seated, then offered drink straight away.
Had several pints of Kingfisher lager then Chicken Pakora,Chicken Saag,South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken,Garlic Naan and plenty Poppadoms and spicy onions. Worked out about £23 per head so excellent value for money and food to die for.

#Lovethisrestaurant.

“Brilliant!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013

After originally going to another Glasgow Indian restaurant (Heera) and being very disappointed, we went along to Mother India's Cafe in the West End. Restuarant was very busy (a good sign! unlike the last place!) and managed to get a table for 2 - unfortunantly right at the door/bar, but not a problem as hadn't booked this place.

Service was very good, attentive and pleasant. Tapas style dishes very good. Kingfisher beer very good, and crisp.

Fiancee loved the chasni, good Chicken Tikka also. Pakora a bit different from other places but still good.

Value for money and will deffo go back.
