I have been here a few times now and everything I've had has been delicious. We've always shared a few starters and 4 main dishes and every dish has been really tasty. Good drinks selection, wine/coffees/etc. The service is good, friendly waiters although maybe a tiny bit slow when it's busy.. The restaurant is lovely, nicely decorated and comfortable with a good atmosphere. Also great location, easy to get to and lots of places nearby for a drink afterwards etc.

We booked on 5pm.co.uk and got a 50% off main meal deal. The menu has a wide range of different types of Indian food which ranges from very expensive to mid-range; definitely not cheap though!
The restaurant itself is very nice with a good atmosphere.
The service really was great: The waiters are very friendly and polite.
Unfortunately the good wasn't up to much which was disappointing as I've eaten here about a year ago and really enjoyed it. I got one of the Chicken Tikka dishes and the chicken didn't taste like it had been "Tikka'd" very much - it tasted more like a regular chicken dish. The sauce was nice enough, quite spicy. My wife got a lamb tikka dish and she said it was a bit tough. My friend got a biryani and she said it was "OK".
It's a shame as if the good had matched the service, it would have been a 5 star review.

I was highly impressed with the extensive choice on the menu and the staff being so friendly. I was part of a party of 12 and one of which had dairy allergies. The staff went out of their way to make sure she was served dairy free food including using oil on the nan breads instead of butter. The food was beautiful and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinners at a cost of £25 per head for 2courses plus drinks it was very reasonably priced.... cannot wait to go back!

Myself and my partner went for meal, thought we where getting a good deal with half price main meal, but this didn't include rice or naan, the chicken was over cooked and naan was burnt, we both work in the service industry and noticed that the place was filling up and didn't like to make a fuss, but when the end bill was tipping to £60 we expected more for our money, we could have had the same meal from a place that was not in merchant city, I feel we where not paying for the food but more for the rent for the place we where eating.

Just had a family meal at The Dhaba, fantastic staff very helpful and explained the menu. Had our young son with us so they prepared a meal for him as he is only 10, must have been good as he " said it was the best curry he has ever had". Only issue we both had the lamb on the bone which was fantastic but far too much, but the staff were only too happy to wrap it for us too take away. Went on. Saturday afternoon and all main meals were half price so good value for money. Will definetly be back.
