Choose 2 fat ladies for a celebration meal after reading reviews, here and elsewhere.
Much smaller than I expected, we were tucked in a corner near the kitchen, well everyone was tucked in somewhere!
Menu selection is small 6/7 choices per course, and majors on fish.
I had the fish of the day, a trio of salmon, bream and coley with a mussel sauce. Excellent and very filling.
Everyone in our party enjoyed their food and could hardly manage the cake we had taken with us!
Its not cheap but better value than say Zizzi or Brel, both nice but this is better.
Service great too!
Will be going back soon.

Lovely and kind staff who were interesting to talk to - we learnt the story behind the title and it wasn't Clarissa Dixon-Wright and er...the other one who started the Two Fat Ladies but stole the name after driving by when starting their TV show. The food was beautiful, delicious and creative and reasonalbly priced.

This small restaurant, which predominantly serves fish, is one of the best. We had the fish platter, 3 kinds of fish, generous portions, cooked perfectly. The decor is in keeping with the fish theme, the young man who served us was quick and friendly and knowledgeable, and the whole eating experience delightful.

We dined on the set lunch menu. Spinach soup was tasteless but the Mussels were delicious. We had Salmon and the Sea Bream and both were pretty average. So not sure I understand all the hype. The set menu had very little choice. There's definitely better value restaurants out there. The lock in the gents toilet doesn't work. Given this is the only toilet in the restaurant it could be quite embarrassing ! We booked via 5pm and were over charged on the bill and the waiter insisted we had got the price wrong. When we checked the site after leaving we were right!

The jury is out on this one !

Celebrated our Wedding Anniversary with a lovely meal in a warm, intimate location in Glasgow. The welcome we received was warm, courteous and helpful. Sadly, the moules mariniere were not available due to local shortage, but the alternatives were tasty, well prepared and beautifully presented. The fish, (plaice and sea bream) were well cooked in a lovely sauce and the service was courteous, rapid and attentive to detail. Altogether a thoroughly satisfactory eating out experience. Remarkable for two people working in a very small space on a busy street.
